Folks at Home, in partnership with Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging and the National Village to Village Network, is offering the greater community the opportunity to again participate in an eight-session “Boost Your Brain and Memory” (BYBAM) program, which will meet from 10–11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 12 through Oct. 5, at the May Justus Library, 24 Dixie Lee Ave., Monteagle.
The program is usually offered at a cost to participants, but due to funding from the South Cumberland Community Fund, there will not be a charge except a $10 donation for the workbook.
The group will meet twice weekly for an hour, each session introducing a new topic on brain health, a short video with discussion, review of the previous week’s content and goals, memory activities, and goal setting for the week ahead.
