Acapella Festival Recital

The University of the South will host an Acapella festival at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18, in Guerry Audtitorium. The festival will feature student acapella groups as well as two guest ensembles. The award-winning quartet Rooftop Records will be coaching the Sewanee ensembles all day at the university. This will be an opportunity for the students to learn from a professional quartet and to then sing that evening in the recital. The three time grammy winning quartet The Fairfield Four will close the recital. The Fairfield Four is known for performing  some of the music for the movie “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” The event is free and open to the public.
