‘The Crucible’ at Proctor Hill Theatre

Theatre/Sewanee will present “The Crucible” by Arthur Miller. Inspired by his own experiences with the Red Scare and the McCarthy Hearings in the 1950s, Miller created a timeless play of hysteria and heroism.
The performances will be in the Proctor Hill Theatre at the Tennessee Williams Center at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 23–24, March 1–3, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Feb. 25.
Retired faculty members David Landon and Marcia Mary Cook join a cast of 20 student actors.
Events at the Tennessee Williams Center are usually free, but seating is limited.
